SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Each year, the Rotary Club of Sanibel & Captiva Florida awards Scholarships to eligible students. The Scholarships offered each year depend on whether existing recipients are eligible for a continuing award.  For the 2018-2019 School year, new scholarships are available

To be considered for a scholarship, a student must meet ALL of the following requirements:

1.  The Applicant must be a current student in good standing.  Preference will be given to students who are attending a Lee County public or private High School and who reside or work on Sanibel or Captiva Island.  A student living in Lee County whose parent(s), or close relative is employed full time on either island may also be given preference for a scholarship award

2. The Applicant must have at least a “B” average (or recognized equivalent) for grades nine through eleven or for undergraduate work if applying for a scholarship to Graduate School

3. The Aldrich Scholarship can be applied to any Post High School educational institution.

4. The Applicant must qualify for “need-based financial assistance” as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

5. The Applicant must be actively engaged in Community Service.
